Your letter to Secretary of State, Mr. Marshall on the question of the independence of Korea is infinitely appreciated and much encouraged by the whole Korean people. All lovers of justice and peace in the world echo the sentiments of your opinion. We strongly insist that a quadripartite conference of China, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Soviet Union be held in Seoul for the immediate realization of the complete independence of Korea, and we are confident that this will be speedily accomplished through your efforts. Dr. Rhee Syngman returned home yesterday, and we are grateful for the hospitality and cooperation he has received from all sides during his stay. |
