1. About anti-trusteeship movement
The decision of the Trilateral Conference is absolutely welcome insofar as it favors our full sovereignty and independence, and we oppose the imposition of trusteeship. We will wage our struggle as legally as possible, and as illegally if necessary. The effective conduct of our anti-trusteeship movement will require strategy and skill, and the senseless injury to the feelings of friendly nations will require prudence. Therefore, the anti-trusteeship movement must be conducted properly under the given circumstances. 2. About Sino-Soviet Treaty of Friendship and Alliance We have been informed of the proposed Sino-Soviet treaty on the attribution of small islands on the Yalu River and the ownership of the Supung Hydroelectric Plant and if it¡¯s true, the treaty is unfriendly and illegal. Although Korea has unfortunately become a bilateral occupied territory of the United States and the Soviet Union, but who has the right to deal with Korean property without the consent of the owner, Korea? It is certainly not the posture of the Soviet Union as a liberator, or China, a friendly ally. Until the government of Korea is established, no one will be able to control even a single stone or a single tree. We hereby protest to both the Soviet Union and China. |
