1948. 7. 20. Rumor about my involvement in the government is an insult
Q : Is it true that you asked the U.S. military authorities to cooperate in holding the second round of inter-Korean negotiations in Seoul?

A : I don¡¯t know if that has ever happened.

Q : Do you have any comments on the decision of the inter-Korean leaders¡¯ meeting held in Pyongyang on the 29th, and do you agree with the decision of the first round of inter-Korean conference in which you participated?

A : As Korean patriots, we all have the same opinion on this, so no questions need to be asked.

Q : There¡¯s a rumor going around that you¡¯re going to be part of the government that¡¯s just been under formation.

A : I think it¡¯s an insult to me to say that.

Q : As President of Unification and Independence Promotion Society, are you willing to send a representative to the UN General Assembly in Paris in September?

A : I¡¯m willing to give it a try.
