| We did not receive a formal response, and the letter we sent to North Korea in the first place requesting inter-Korean conference was sent under the joint name of me and Dr. Kim Kyusik, so it is impossible for me to have made such a statement without discussing it with Dr. Kim.
However, we will promote the inter-Korean conference in the spirit of ethnic Korean’s morality and mankind’s righteousness, and it is evidently clear that this is the only way forward due to the current state of affairs in Korea. I am confident that this movement is not nonsense and it will be carried out and that it will reap a fruitful result. |
