We warmly welcome the UN Temporary Commission on Korea. I regret that we were unable to make it to the airport because the ¡®pass¡¯ was not issued. It would be a great happiness to us if the UN Temporary Commission on Korea would not only allow us to establish, as they have promised us, a unified government without trusteeship, without interference in our internal affairs, and by a general election in both the North and the South, but also allow that government to exercise the right to govern Korea at once and without defect, and to withdraw the American and Soviet troops on the date promised.
