It is deeply regrettable that, on August 29, the National Humiliation Day, the so-called National Convention of the Republic of Korea, whose identity is not clear, has misled the attention of the people by announcing that it has by itself organized a provisional government. Even if the intention was motivated by a wish for the early emergence of the government, as far as it did not follow a common sense in means and methods, it must be nothing more than a childish prank. On this day, a year after the liberation of the our country from the enemy, our political affairs have not made much progress and the people¡¯s lives are in disarray, therefore, each people could be in a fretting mind. But as a proverb is saying, no matter how urgent it is, you should not tie a thread to the waist of a needle, so I hope that any compatriots in this country should not mislead our people by a clumsy behavior but keep pace altogether to achieve our common goal by the justifiable means and methods. Only then will we be able to establish an independent government that is true to its name. |
